Calling all romantics ... this is such a classic Viccy piece - gosh were those sour-faced Victorians big old softies at heart. Hearts were awash across antique jewellery, and is there anything more sentimental than a heart-shaped locket? This one has been etched with foliage and a shield motif for protection.
This is a back and front example, so the face and back of the locket are crafted in solid gold, with base metal fittings to give the whole piece strength and longevity.
